Category 6.A cable solutions with a rated bandwidth of 500MHz supporting channel transmission at 10Gpbs need a design that would help cancelling or attenuating crosstalk coming from not only adjacent pairs inside the cable, but also from other pairs nearby, and this is what is known as alien crosstalk.
Two types of construction can be used to reduce alien crosstalk in cables: one consists of enclosing individual twisted pairs with a dielectric wrapping following very strict manufacturing requirements.
